I was listening to a day of Easter, radio Rapita and gave a story that left me perplexed. In the city of Amposta there are still streets named after Franco's regime. Councilman citizen ann barker participation was not going to do any better than a sort of referendum to the people of the streets affected, an unorthodox way. He sent a letter to those affected, according to the radio station with a full back who could, if they wanted, if they wanted ann barker to keep showing street names or not and why. If I misunderstood only 36 people were defined and the majority ann barker said that there would be a financial sacrifice renaming and preferred to keep current.
In my opinion, the governing body of the City of Amposta, CIU, they would fall to keep our heads in shame Franco names in your town. There are many ways to engage citizens and many systems, but this is certainly the least appropriate.
I hope the council ann barker Amposta rectified and CIU intervene, not to let Franco cities remain in our territory. If you have problems you can try to find names with democracy, justice, peace, freedom, or others, to help us remember that many citizens were denied them for so many years of dictatorship.
We also recommend that instead of having a council of participation, the expense of using to help residents ann barker of the affected streets to change the documentation of a simple and free.
