The original theatrical format of 2.35:1 is not retained for the DVD release. The image is in fact cut into 1.78:1 anamorphic. Above and below, there is now more visible (see screenshot 1). We are dealing with an \ "open christmas window display matte \ 'version of the film here. This does not interfere directly because of the additional image information, but it is not the image as the creators intended. A point deduction so. Furthermore, the transfer looks just fine.
