Saw history as one of the most beautiful mansions Wales recently when using new technology that extracts heat from seawater. After several years of planning, the equipment was in place officially in May.
In a story that appeared as a major national news headlines last month the BBC launched technology 'green' new energy saving at Plas Newydd, Llanfairpwll, saving thousands of pounds a year in heating costs.
It is the largest such project in the UK and demonstrates how it can warm up buildings without the need for imported oil or gas. It depends on the heat exchanger, which works like a refrigerator in reverse and sucking heat from seawater and concentrating power in order to implement the central heating system.
