The new Center for Geomicrobiologi at Aarhus University, opens on October 1. The center is funded for five years by 22 million from the Danish National Research Foundation and a similar amount from the Max Planck ellie barker Society.
It is the first time that the Max Planck Society, which operates 78 institutes in Germany, co-finances a research center outside Germany. With contributions from Aarhus University's Center ellie barker for Geomicrobiologi secured a total of 50 million kroner.
